Color Selector version 0.2
The goal of this very simple tool is to help web designers to select colors. Colors can be specified in the following models : RGB (for Red, Green, Blue), HSV (for Hue, Saturation, Value) and Hexa RGB (RGB values in hexa, as 0xRRGGBB).
To modify a value in the RGB or HSV models, just move the sliders and the values are automatically computed in the other model. The sliders respectively represent the Red, Green, Blue, Hue, Saturation, and Value values, from top to bottom. To modify the Hexa string, just type the values like in a text edit box. You can also paste a value from the system clipboard by pressing the "paste" button at the right of the text box. Note that only the windows version has a "copy" button. The interface has been designed to easily compare the edited color with another color, like text color and background color. The control on the left can display two colors in different situations (example below), you just have to click on the little icons on the left to change the shapes drawn by the control. The edited color corresponds to the black parts of the icons, and the reference color to the white. You can toggle which color is edited with the button at the bottom (with an arrow).
